Deadline Day News: Tottenham ace Danny Rose rejects two offers from Turkey
According to a deadline day update from The Athletic (h/t Daily Mail), Tottenham outcast Danny Rose has turned down lucrative offers from two Turkish clubs.
The 30-year-old has found himself out of favour under Jose Mourinho since last year. Having spent the second half of the last season out on loan at Newcastle United, Rose returned to the club in the summer but wasn’t given a kit number.
In addition, he was also excluded from the club’s official squads from the Premier League and Europa League.
This has led to speculations over his future at Tottenham. There have been reports of interest from Premier League club West Bromwich Albion while Turkish outfit Trabzonspor were also linked with a move for the England international. (h/t Daily Mail)
However, as per the aforementioned deadline day update, Rose has turned down a couple of offers from Turkey and looks set for a stay at Tottenham.
The 30-year-old’s contract with the club runs out at the end of the season. And it seems like he will continue to train with the development squad and play for the reserves in the Premier League 2 until his deal expires.

Rose has been with Tottenham since 2007, when he made the switch from Leeds United. The Englishman rose to great heights during his time at the club, but has been on the decline for a while now.
A January move away would have provided him with a chance to resurrect his career. However, having turned down offers, his time at Tottenham looks set to continue beyond the deadline day.
