Dane Scarlett sends Instagram message after making Tottenham Hotspur debut
It was a night to remember for Dane Scarlett as the 16-year-old made his Premier League debut for Tottenham Hotspur against West Bromwich Albion. The match saw us end a three-game losing streak in the league.
With the result secure after Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min’s goals, Jose Mourinho decided to bring on the youngster in the dying seconds. At 16 years and 320 days, Scarlett is the club’s youngest debutant in the Premier League.
A forward, the teenager has scored 20 goals for the Spurs academy this season. This has seen him train with the first-team and it should do his confidence a world of good.
It was the youngster’s second appearance for the senior side this season. He earlier made a cameo in our Europa League fixture against Ludogorets. Held in high regard at the club, he looks to be on his way to making a name for himself in North London.
