Davinson Sanchez opens up on what could be a special season for Tottenham Hotspur

According to Football.london, Tottenham star Davinson Sanchez is excited by what the club can achieve this season. Jose Mourinho’s side are firmly in the top-four race and are also alive in all three cup competitions.

With a Carabao Cup final still to come, the season could see us finally end our long wait for a trophy. The Colombian had fallen down the pecking order but has of seen himself get more opportunities in the league of late.

Sanchez has been at the club for four years now. During that time, he is a witness to a number of opportunities we have squandered. He believes Tottenham will have no excuses if they fail to make this season’s performances count.

“It’s an exciting challenge for us. It’s my fourth year here and I have been a lot of the time in a good position, a high position in the league but now we have a chance to reach another final.”

With less than half the season to go, Spurs have an excellent opportunity to ensure they end it on a high. No game comes easy at this time of the year and Sanchez is eager for the team to rise to the challenge.

“We have big games in the Premier League and every competition is now a big challenge for us.”

While he is excited for what lies ahead, Sanchez is also keen to keep his eye on the ball. He believes Spurs should take one game at a time and attempt to make the most of their position. As he admits, the players can have now excuse this season.
