Sergio Reguilon is content at Tottenham Hotspur as transfer links to Real Madrid are shot down
According to Michael Bridge of Sky Sports, Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon is happy at the club amid transfer rumours linking him with a return to Real Madrid.
Reguilon has been linked with a return to Spain recently but the rumours have been shot down. He is said to be loving his time in North London.
The Spanish left-back is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury. As a result, he has missed the last 5 league games for Spurs after a stellar start to the season.
Seen a few reports from Spain on Reguilon looking to return to Real Madrid lately. Can confirm there’s absolutely no truth in them whatsoever. He’s loving his time in London. He must wonder what he’s watching while he’s been injured. His return next week is a big boost. #THFC

The 24-year-old joined Spurs from Real Madrid last summer. Since his arrival, he has been a regular fixture in Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of Ben Davies.
Before his injury, he made 13 league appearances this season. Overall, Reguilon has taken the pitch 20 times for the Lilywhites and has assisted 5 times during that stint. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Reguilon back soon from injury
In his absence, Ben Davies has played the full 90 minutes in each of our last 6 league games. Reguilon’s time on the sidelines has also coincided with the club’s worst run of form this season. Mourinho’s men have lost 5 out of their last 6 games in all competitions.
This poor run of form has seen us drop down the table. Title talk is surely out of the window now but a top-4 finish can still be possible.
But for that to happen, the Portuguese manager would need the strongest Spurs side at his disposal. In light of that, Reguilon’s return from injury cannot come soon enough.
