According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost ahead of the game against Wolfsberger AC with Giovani Lo Celso back in training.

And Jose Mourinho could now possibly be able to recall star man Giovani Lo Celso for the game, with the Argentine seemingly back in training. The 24-year-old has been missing for well over a month now, with the Portuguese tactician claiming that he was still a few weeks away from returning in his most recent interview.

“I don’t know. Not close. Not Gio. No, no, no. Gio is still a few weeks away and, of course, we need him because he gives us lots of qualities and options and we’ve missed him for a long time.”

However, Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele posted an image of Lo Celso kitted out in the Spurs’ training gear ready to get back on the field. His potential return would be a huge boost given as he was one of our more impressive performances in the first half of the season.

In addition, it is also said that right-back Serge Aurier could also be available for selection when Wolfsberger come down to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this week after having missed the last four games.

Tottenham go into the game with a near-unassailable 4-1 first leg lead. It will be interesting to see whether Mourinho opts to field a full-strength lineup or rotates his troops.
