Tottenham star Serge Aurier confirms return from injury on social media
Taking to Instagram, Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier has confirmed that he is back from injury ahead of the game against Wolfsberger.
Tottenham face off against the Austrian outfit in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 stage contest on Wednesday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The first leg of the draw saw Jose Mourinho’s men pick up a resounding 4-1 win which has pretty much put the tie to bed.
Nevertheless, there should be no room for complacency when Wolfsberger come visiting on Wednesday. More so, considering that Spurs go into the game on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.
And heading into the game, Tottenham may have been handed a boost as Serge Aurier hinted at a potential return from injury on his social media. The Ivory Coast international has missed our last four games with a fitness issue. But he posted a story on his Instagram with the caption “I’m back bro” tagging Davinson Sanchez in the post.
Aurier also posted a video of himself going through intense physical training.
