Tottenham News: Gareth Bale relishing playing alongside ‘fantastic’ Harry Kane

According to Mirror, Gareth Bale had some words of praise for his teammate, Harry Kane, after the win over Crystal Palace. Bale acknowledged the fact that his amazing strike partners have helped him as well as the club in breaking some goal-scoring records.

With those 4 goals against Palace, courtesy of Bale (2) and Kane (2), Spurs have become only the second team to have reached the 100 goals mark after the formidable Bayern Munich. Bale spoke out on having so many good forward players in the side and pointed to that as a reason for returning to Tottenham.

Bale added that all the players are fighting for places and competition is very high. That, in turn, is keeping everyone on their toes. He hoped that they can keep going in the same way. However, Bale single out Harry Kane and talked about playing alongside the English striker.

“Harry’s fantastic, an incredible striker. He showed that again tonight and he has been so consistent. It was a fantastic performance again from him and we are lucky to have him here.”
