Dele Alli wins Tottenham goal of the month for brilliant strike against Wolfsberger

The goal came in the second-leg UEFA Europa League last-32 fixture against Austrian side Wolfsberger AC. Spurs already had a 4-1 lead from the first leg.

And Alli’s sensational kick put the Lilywhites ahead on the night in N17. Alli passed the ball wide to Matt Doherty on the right flank.

The Irish right-back then played the ball back to the English midfielder, who took one touch to control the ball before scoring from an audacious bicycle kick just inside the box.

It is certainly great to see Alli back amongst the goals. He is also seeing more playing time recently under Jose Mourinho.

After being largely sidelined from the squad during the first half of this season, he has now featured in 4 of Spurs’ last 5 Premier League games. (h/t Transfermarkt)
