Lucas Moura reveals the reason for Tottenham’s good results
According to Football.london, Lucas Moura believes that Tottenham just needed to remember how well they can play to stem the bad results. Mourinho’s men turned around their fortunes over the last few games as they picked up three league wins on the trot after losing five in six.
Like most of the players, Lucas’ own form has been on the rise after he was shifted to a No.10 role from the wide right. That has allowed Bale to play on the right and flourish. The former PSG man felt that Spurs just needed to believe again.
“I think the main thing was the mentality because we just needed to have the belief in ourselves. We needed to know how good we are because we have terrific players, a very good squad and the quality in the Premier League to win games. When we realise that and we have confidence we are able to dominate games.”
Despite being labelled as a defensive team, Spurs have actually scored 100 goals in all competitions. We are only the second side in Europe to get to that mark this season after Bayern Munich.
