Gareth Bale talks about his celebration and Heung-Min Son
According to Football.london, Gareth Bale has named Heung-Min Son as the fourth member of the ‘Welsh Mafia’. The Wales star considers Son an honorary Welshman and a part of the celebration he does after scoring a goal.
Bale celebrated his goals against Burnley with a ‘WM’ gesture with his hands. His celebration is actually in recognition of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and their work. For that, he makes a ‘WM’ gesture using his hands. He performed the celebration after scoring his goals against Burnley.
The 31-year old has struck some good form over the last few weeks and has scored some important goals to boost his confidence. Bale’s Welsh teammates join him in the celebration after he scores.
Usually, the likes of Joe Rodon, Ben Davies and Lucas join but Bale considers Heung-Min Son as the fourth member of the ‘Welsh Mafia’.
“He’s basically Welsh to us. We’re a bit disappointed because all the pictures have us three and Lucas – but really Sonny should be the fourth man.”
