Mikel Arteta warns Arsenal about special Tottenham attack
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has warned his side about the attack Tottenham have at their disposal (h/t Mirror). Spurs are set to face Arsenal on the weekend in an important North London derby.
Tottenham recently surpassed the 100-goal mark for the season with Harry Kane’s twin strikes against Dinamo Zagreb. Bayern Munich are the only other side to better Spurs’ tally. The likes of Kane, Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale have largely been prolific in front of the net this season.
Mikel Arteta has spoken about the same and fired a warning to his own side.
“It’s very difficult because the level of quality, precision, understanding and chemistry that they have between them makes them probably one of the most special (attacks) in Europe. And they don’t need much. They are able to create their own chances, they are able to link as a team. So it is really difficult to do, but we will prepare the game well to try to stop them obviously.”
The trio has struck 34 goals in the league so far and no doubt will be relishing going up against a fragile Arsenal defence that has conceded many goals. Spurs have been very clinical in the last few games winning their previous 5 in all competitions.

The derby is a vital one in terms of Spurs’ hopes for a top-four finish. They could climb up to 5th from 7th with a win. With so much momentum behind them and Arsenal in faltering form, Spurs could be expected to edge this one out.
