Tottenham ace Harry Kane sends a message to Declan Rice after England beat Albania
According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane sent a message to West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, issuing an apology over his celebration gaffe as England beat Albania.
England picked up their second win in two games in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, as they beat Albania 2-0 on Sunday with goals coming from Kane and Mason Mount.
Kane got England off the mark heading home a pinpoint cross from in-form Manchester United man Luke Shaw before Mount rounded things off in the second half after being set up by his captain.
While the game in itself wasn’t all too exciting, a particular moment in the aftermath of Kane’s goal stood out. After having found the back of the net, the Tottenham superstar was celebrating with his teammates.
Declan Rice happened to dart towards his captain to join in but happened to have his attempt at a high-five ignored by Kane, leaving him hanging. The West Ham United ace took to Twitter to post about the incident, drawing a response from the Tottenham man, who issued an apology for not paying attention.
Sorry mate should have checked my shoulder 😂 https://t.co/FHzNuJGk6Z
