Primarily a central midfielder, Menino is a versatile operator who has been used at right-back, right-wing, attacking midfield as well as left-midfield at the Brazilian club. This versatility and flexibility, coupled with the potential that he has shown have led to interest from a host of clubs from Europe.

Likened for Manchester City legend Yaya Toure, Menino has already attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, with Tottenham also in the mix.

The report goes on to add that Menino has a £51m release clause in his contract with Palmeiras. But the Brazilian club would be willing to let him leave for just £13m, due to the club’s dire financial situation post the coronavirus pandemic.

At that price, Menino could prove to be a steal for Tottenham. At 20, he is still bound to get better with experience while his versatile nature would allow the manager more flexibility with regards to the squad dynamics.
