Tottenham eyeing Hansi Flick as Mourinho replacement; face Arsenal, Juventus competition
According to The Sun, Tottenham could move to sign Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick as a replacement for Jose Mourinho at the end of the ongoing season.
Tottenham Hotspur let go of Mourinho this past Monday night amidst the chaos created by the announcement of the European Super League. The team hadn’t been performing at its best for a while now, with results on the decline and the prospect of no European football for next season looming large.
And Daniel Levy decided to swing the axe on Monday morning, replacing Mourinho with former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason on an interim basis. Ever since, a number of managers have been linked with the vacant Tottenham hotseat, with the latest addition to the list being Hansi Flick. (h/t The Sun)
The German tactician, who won the treble with Bayern Munich last term, revealed last week that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season amid a fallout behind the scenes. This has sparked a flurry of interest as Juventus are lining him up to replace Andrea Pirlo while he has also been linked with the job of the Germany national team.
The report, though, goes on to claim that Tottenham too could throw their hat in the rings if Flick does leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. Apart from us, our local rivals Arsenal could also be in the fray, as Mikel Arteta struggles to lead the club to a top-six finish. (h/t The Sun)

Flick, given what he has achieved in a short spell at Bayern, can be a brilliant acquisition. However, it is extremely unlikely that such a move would materialise.
