Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur’s stance on Harry Kane leaving revealed as transfer links continue

A report by Sportslens (h/t football.london) states that Tottenham Hotspur will not accept any offers for star striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Kane’s future has been up in the air for a while. The English international himself revealed his desire to win team trophies after Spurs were knocked out of all cup competitions this year.

It led to reports of Kane wanting to leave the club if they did not secure UEFA Champions League qualification next summer. That seems like an impossible task now, with a 7-point gap between Spurs and 4th-placed Leicester City after 35 league games this season.

A number of clubs are interested in a transfer for Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

However, Spurs will not accept any offer for their main man in the summer. The 27-year-old is still under a long-term contract at the London club that expires in 2024. (h/t football.london)

Kane to stay

Tottenham have had a poor season but Kane has still managed to keep up his ridiculous scoring rate, and this has expectedly attracted the interest of other big clubs.

As early as last month, Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid were all linked with Kane. And with these clubs all making the UCL next season, it is understandable why they would be a better transfer prospect for a player.

But Kane has spent his entire career on Spurs’ books and would be vital in any rebuild that takes place after this season. There is, of course, a new manager that will take over the reins from the interim boss, Ryan Mason, in the summer.

And no matter who that is, Kane would be one player they would want to keep at the club. He has 31 goals and 16 assists in all competitions this season and continues to be the club’s main man up front.
