Now, the £150million-rated forward has dropped a huge hint that he would prefer a transfer to the newly-crowned Premier League champions, City, stating his desire to play alongside an ‘outstanding player’ like Kevin De Bruyne.
“When I watch De Bruyne play he’s a special, special player and some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream if I’m honest. But yeah he’s outstanding – you’ve seen him year in year out – he’s an outstanding player with the ball, off the ball, pressing. But his delivery is as good as I’ve ever seen to be honest.”
The latest comments come after he insisted that that he was at a crossroads in his career and it was time to have an honest conversation with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over his future.
