Graham Potter stays calm amid Tottenham links
According to Football.london, Graham Potter has played down speculation linking him to the Tottenham job. The Brighton boss is among the shortlisted managers who are likely to take over in North London next season.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new manager after Jose Mourinho was sacked by the club last month. The Portuguese, who will be joining AS Roma at the start of next season, lasted just 17 months at the helm before being axed.
Former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason has taken over as interim boss until the end of the season as the club searches for a suitable full-time replacement. And Potter’s name is one that has come up in conversations a lot.
Nonetheless, Potter has played down any such links and is not distracted by that.
“I don’t pay too much attention to things that are out of my control, things that get written or speculation, there’s nothing I can do about it. I am focused on this job, trying to finish off this season as well as we can. I am excited by the team, excited by the club, excited by the group. I just focus on that.”

Graham Potter has done a fine job at Brighton, even though their position in the table might suggest otherwise. The 45-year-old has gotten the team playing an attacking, attractive brand of football while doing so on a meagre budget. He would be someone worth taking a punt on for Tottenham even though he has downplayed such links.
