Tottenham line up moves for Leonardo Bonucci, Dejan Kulusevski
According to Calciomercato (h/t Football.london), Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a double raid on Juventus for Dejan Kulusevski and Leonardo Bonucci once Fabio Paratici arrives at the club.
Tottenham are set to appoint Paratici as the club’s new Director of Football. The Italian would be arriving after he ended his 11-year stint with Juventus in a similar position, where he brought in some top players.
And, it seems like even before the appointment has been made official, Paratici is already hard at work. Indeed, the report states that the 48-year-old has identified two transfer targets for Tottenham already in the form of Bonucci and Kulusevski with both being from his former employers Juventus.
Bonucci is widely regarded as one of the best defenders of the modern era. An ever-present at the heart of the Juventus side that has dominated Italy for the best part of the last decade, the veteran star, even at 34, can be an asset for Tottenham with his leadership and experience.
As for Kulusevski, he joined Juventus only last summer and while he endured an up and down debut season, the young winger is loaded with potential.
Given that Gareth Bale has now returned to Real Madrid and the likes of Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela underwhelmed the last term, someone like young Swede can be a handy addition at Tottenham in the short and long term.

Paratici has done quite well with the transfer handlings at Juventus. So, there’s hope within the Tottenham ranks that we will see a lot of success with the dealings moving forward. As for Bonucci and Kulusevski, there are certainly merits to signing the Juventus duo. However, any move is likely to depend on who the new manager will be and what vision he has for the team.
