Transfer News: Tottenham superstar Harry Kane issues update on future
Speaking to BBC (h/t Football.london), Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane has provided an update on his future at the club as exit speculations mount by the day.
Towards the end of the last season, Kane had claimed that he would be discussing his Tottenham future with chairman Daniel Levy in the summer.
This had come after Sky Sports claimed that the 27-year-old had asked to leave the club, with the said report even claiming that the England captain wanted his future sorted before he left for the Euros.
But there has been no progress as such, with Kane now away at the Euro with the England national team. When quizzed about what the future holds ahead of England’s game against Croatia, the 27-year-old said that stuff will happen once the tournament is out of the way. (h/t Football.london)
“It’s been ok. I’m sure I’ll get asked about it a lot but my most important thing is trying to win a major tournament with England. The rest of the stuff will happen obviously when I get back from the tournament but for now that’s all I’m focused on.
“I’m not someone who listens to the noise anyway, whether it’s good or bad to be honest. I try to never get too high or too low. I’m here to give everything for my country.”
Kane’s comments come after Tottenham chairman Levy seemed to have issued a transfer warning to the star man.
“What we want and what somebody else wants is not always possible to achieve. We will do whatever is right for the club.”

It looks like the transfer saga could get dragged out quite a bit this summer with Levy unlikely to let go of Kane easily while the striker seems to have his mind made up.
