Transfer News: Tottenham stand firm on Harry Kane amid Man City interest
According to transfer news from Mirror, Tottenham are not ready to lose Harry Kane amidst interest from Manchester City. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is keen to hold on to his star man. City also put forward a bid of £100million for Kane, which was rejected.
The rumour mill has been going off relentlessly ever since news broke that Kane had informed Tottenham of his desire to leave the club at the end of the season. English champions Manchester City have emerged as contenders to secure the signing of the 27-year-old England captain.
During an interview with Gary Neville, Kane claimed that he was in charge of his future at the club and not Daniel Levy. He wants to win trophies in his career and is hoping for a summer exit from the club. The problem for Kane is that Levy is not keen to allow that.
Spurs and Levy are standing strong in their stance to not let any club prise away Kane from their clutches. Man City have shown the most interest but they are likely to be rebuffed as Levy does not want to cash in on his star man. They even had a £100million bid turned down for him.

Things are slowly taking an ugly turn in this saga. Kane has spoken about his desire to leave the club but has never behaved unprofessionally. Levy is a stubborn figure and he will not lose Kane easily. Denying him a move might not be the best decision here.
