“Some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream,”
Journalist Fabrizio Romano via Guardian reported City’s efforts to sign Kane. He claimed that the England and Spurs star is their ‘primary’ target. However, the report suggested that Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a bid from City for Kane. The bid was worth at least £100m.
Newly appointed manager Nuno Espirito Santo backed those reports. The former Wolves man said that Kane is our player and that he is looking forward to him joining the squad.
“Kane is Tottenham player, our player, period. There’s nothing to add.
In an interesting turn of events, The Sun reported that Daniel Levy is going to let Kane leave. The Spurs chairman is set to accept the mega £160million offer from Manchester City.
Harry Kane’s delight
The report added that he ‘rang’ the player, who was at his brother’s wedding, to tell the news. The report also that Kane will receive a record £400,000-a-week salary from the Manchester club.
