Harry Kane facing significant fine from Tottenham for no-show in training
According to Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur are set to take an action against Harry Kane. The club are considering a significant fine. The sanction comes after the striker pulled a no-show to the training. Kane was supposed to return on 2nd August.
However, in the midst of interest from Manchester City, he failed to report to training. The club feels disappointed by Kane’s actions.
The report suggest that Tottenham Hotspur have no option but to impose the sanctions. However, the report claims that Harry Kane has not yet officially communicated the reasons for skipping the training.
Where does Harry Kane’s no-show leave Tottenham?
Sky Sports broadcaster, Paul Gilmour, reported about Harry Kane’s no-show on August 2. The full report from Sky Sports suggested that the player has told Spurs about his intentions to leave. It added that Kane had a gentleman’s agreement with Tottenham to leave this summer.

However, it seems that the player has taken the matters into his hands. While Kane did mention about a possible move in an interview with Gary Neville, a no-show could mean that the player has made his intent to leave clear.
Now, Spurs have to manage this situation with their star player. In addition to that, the club could already be looking at a replacement option. Safe to say that replacing a world-class player like Harry Kane won’t be easy.
The Telegraph reported that the club are looking at Dusan Vlahovic and Crotone’s Simy. However, it is mentioned that Spurs were seeing those targets as one to support Kane rather than replace him.
