Transfer News: Tottenham get a boost in their chase of Paulo Dybala
According to transfer news from Mirror, Tottenham have received a boost in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala. The Juventus star still hasn’t agreed on a new deal at the club and Premier League clubs along with Tottenham are hoping to take advantage of the same.
One of the crown jewels of Juventus’ attack over the past few years, Dybala suffered last season due to injuries and a lack of faith shown by manager Andrea Pirlo. He was sidelined for most of the season while other players such as Ronaldo and Chiesa flourished.
With the Argentine international set to enter the final year of his contract with Juventus at the end of the season, talks of the club pushing for contract talks have been on the cards. However, as it seems, there are still a lot of factors to agree on and it seems that a deal is still far from completion (h/t Mirror).
This does come as a boost for Spurs, who have been after the Argentine for a while now. Juventus are understood to be planning on holding more talks with the player over the coming days, but the fact that it has dragged till this point should give some encouragement to Spurs. Arsenal are also said to be after him.

At a time when Kane’s future has been uncertain, getting a player of Dybala’s calibre should be a welcome move. For now, Spurs can only wait to see if contract negotiations fail. They should then try to pounce on the player and capitalize on the situation.
