Gary Neville believes Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane has already made his mind up about leaving
Speaking to Sky Sports (h/t Express), Gary Neville believes that Harry Kane has already made his mind up on leaving Tottenham Hotspur amidst links with Manchester City.
Tottenham played their first game of the season against Manchester City at home yesterday and were victorious, thanks to Heung Min Son, who scored the only goal of the game. Spurs’ main star over the years, Kane, was absent from the matchday squad, sparking rumours about the player’s future at the club.
Although Nuno Espirito Santo was of the idea that the forward is not completely fit yet to join the squad, Manchester United legend Gary Neville is ‘convinced’ that there is more to it.
While talking to Sky Sports (h/t Express) after the game, he said:
“Harry Kane would be here today I feel if there was no doubt over his future. To not see him here today was a surprise. I took into it that he’s gone, I just felt him not being visible in the stadium.”
Neville also talked about how he believed that something could happen in the coming week concerning Harry Kane.
“There are no Premier League games this week, and there is five or six days to do something”.

The former Manchester United defender explained that other players of the England squad are back in training and he expected the same of the Tottenham ace.
“I do believe that to me told me he’s gone with him not being on the bench. He’s the most professional player you’ll ever see so something is going on.”
While there have been talks of the player leaving for Manchester City before the end of the transfer window, Tottenham are adamant about not letting the player leave. However, only time will tell where the forward’s future lies beyond the summer.
