Transfer News: Dusan Vlahovic to be offered mega-contract by Tottenham Hotspur
According to Viola News, via Sport Witness (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer Dusan Vlahovic a contract worth €5million post-tax should the player join the club this summer.
The North London outfit have been keen on signing a centre-forward this summer as they could be on the verge of losing their star forward Harry Kane. However, the club see Vlahovic as someone who will come in to partner the Englishman instead of replacing him.
Vlahovic was one of the top strikers in Italy last season as he finished as the fourth-highest goal-scorer in Serie A with 21 goals to his name, only behind Atalanta’s Luis Muriel, Romelu Lukaku, and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo.
Tottenham are now said to have intensified their interest in the Serbian over the past week after starting the opening game of the season without a recognized centre-forward. Additionally, Spurs are also willing to offer the forward a €2million signing-on fee, on top of his €5million contract post-tax and bonuses (h/t Express).
Amidst interest from Spurs, Fiorentina have also tried to keep the forward at the club by offering him a new contract. However, it does not match up to Spurs’ offer as the Italian club are only willing to provide Vlahovic with a contract worth €3million.
The North London club have been keen on signing the Serbian this summer and have maintained their stance in the market despite the player also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.

Fabio Paratici has already concluded some incredible business at the club this summer by signing the likes of Pierluigi Gollini, Bryan Gil, and Cristian Romero while they are still in the market to sign the likes of Pau Torres and Nahitan Nandez.
Should Vlahovic sign for Spurs, he would become their fourth signing of the summer, but the club will have to move fast as the transfer window will close in two weeks.
