Transfer News: Tottenham open talks over Adama Traore
According to transfer news from Metro, Tottenham have opened talks with Wolves over a move for Adama Traore. The Spaniard is keen on a move and Nuno Espirito Santo is also happy to take him under his wing again. An initial loan with the option to buy for £40m is likely to be on the cards.
The 25-year-old Wolves man is a quick and strong winger who can leave the best of defenders lying in his wake. He has made a name for himself at the Molineux after failed stints at previous clubs such as Barcelona, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.
It was only under the tutelage of Nuno that Traore would go on to develop into such an effective winger who could easily burst through defences. However, Wolves seem to be in a bit of a problem with his contract situation. His contract ends in less than two years and any efforts to renew his deal have proved unsuccessful.
Now, it seems his former manager is set to offer him the chance to join him at his new club. Nuno Espirito Santo wants Traore at Spurs and the player is also keen on the move. Spurs have also opened talks regarding a move that will initially be a loan. Over next summer the deal could be made permanent for £40m.
