Transfer News: Tottenham complete €15m agreement for Pape Sarr
According to transfer news from Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have completed an agreement for Pape Sarr. Metz will receive a €15m fee plus add-ons for their prized asset. However, he will return to the club on loan for this season. Paperworks will now need to be completed.
Spurs have had a decent transfer window so far. However, one of the most noticeable things has been how each of the signings are replacements for departing players. Pierluigi Gollini comes in place of Joe Hart, Cristian Romero in place of Toby Alderweireld while Bryan Gil was a swap with Erik Lamela.
Spurs now seem to be looking at the future and have gone after Pape Sarr. The youngster from Metz burst onto the scene last season and has not looked back since. However, it would seem Spurs are actually very close to wrapping up the deal.
A deal worth €15m plus add-ons is in place which would see Sarr return to Metz on loan for this season as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. All the details of the agreement have been completed by Spurs. Now, all three parties will need to hash out the paperwork for the deal to go over the line officially.

Sarr can be a fine addition for the future for Tottenham. Returning to Metz for the season on loan is a smart move that will allow him to keep up the same level of progress he has had so far. A year later, Spurs will be received a well-rounded player that might be ready to step into the rigours of the first team.
