Has Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg dropped a hint regarding Tottenham Hotspur unrest in Manchester United post-match comments?

EPL (English Premier League) is running and up. The newest season 2021/22 have been talked about everywhere, and of course, have been bet by many gamblers around the world. This can be proven by the that shows the EPL. Of course, the most popular team for the bet is the big 6 of EPL, namely the duo Manchester, Manchester City and Manchester United, the Merseyside giant, Liverpool, and the trio of London, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

For the past few years, Manchester City have dominated the English Premier League, however, the other Big 6 keep tailing City up until now. This season in particular is very interesting with the spectacular transfer that happens in the market, especially with the Harry Kane drama (City and Tottenham).

Talking about the drama, Tottenham has been mocked as the only big 6 that never won any major trophy, however, they are no small club. They often beat the other big clubs, hence why we will talk about the odds of Tottenham in this season 2021/22 premier league.

Tottenham Hotspur Profile

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club  is a football club that comes from the area Tottenham, Tottenham is an area exactly in North London. Tottenham is often called the Spurs, while the fans are often given the club’s epithet as the Lilywhites. It is because of their trademark white jersey along with navy colors. Tottenham Hotspur was founded right in the years of 1881.

They won a major cup (FA Cup) in 1901 (their first trophy), and they are, at that time, the only club outside of the league to win the FA cup (ever since the Football League founded).

Back then, in the 1960–61 season, Tottenham Hotspur were the first and only club (in the 1900s or 20th century) to win the domestic double, which is the English Football League and FA Cup After Tottenham have a successful champion title defending back then in 1961, they finally managed to become the first English club to won the competition in Europe.

They won the UEFA competitions, which are the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup back in 1963. They also continued to win another FA cup (their third one), back in 1967. The club is grounded at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The club has a motto, which is “Audere est Facere”. “Audere est Facere” is Latin language which is often translated into English as “To Dare is To Do”. Spurs have an old but intense rivalry with the city club, Arsenal, and the match between Tottenham Spurs and Arsenal is known as the North London Derby.

Tottenham Hotspur in 2020/21 Season

The last season, the 2020-21, was the 29th season for the club Tottenham Hotspur, in the EPL (English Premier League). It is also the 43rd season of the Spurs in the first season of the FA football system. Last year in 2019, they finished in sixth place, (2019-20), which means that they are qualified to play in the lower division of the European cup, the UEFA Europa League. They were qualified to play the second round, which they reached the big 16.

However, they were beaten by Dinamo Zagreb, in both legs. While in the domestic cup (FA Cup), Tottenham have played until the third round, before finally being beaten by Everton (on the 5th round)

In the EPL, Tottenham Hotspur was also beaten by Everton right on their first home game (at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium). After that, they see an impressive never lost run until December. This run makes them the top of the league for about 1 months. Suddenly, right after the loss to Liverpool, the quality of Tottenham play is decreasing.

The coach, Jose Mourinho, which had arranged the club to reach the final of the Carabao cup, is suddenly fired. He was fired right before the final against Manchester city. Mourinho was fired together with his coaching staff on 19 April 2021. This was the result of various poor forms in the league. He was replaced by the former Tottenham Hotspur player, Ryan Mason. Ryan Mason only acted as the interim head coach until the season ended (5 games left).

Mason’s first game as the coach is a home game in the EPL, which he won against the Saints, Southampton. The game was a success, but next week, they lost the League cup final, to Manchester city by the score 1-0.

2021/22 Season Prediction

Meanwhile this year is the 2021/22 season. This is the 30th season so far in the EPL for Tottenham Hotspur, which is also the 44th in the top league in FA English football. After last season’s 2020/21 bad forms, firing Mourinho, they finished in the seventh position.

Tottenham managed to qualify for a new UEFA cup, the UEFA  Conference League at the play-off round. At the end of June 2021, Tottenham announced Nuno Espírito Santo as the new head coach on a two-year contract. Tottenham Hotspurs are now entering a new era under the control of Nuno Espirito Santo.

Without the  coaching of Jose Mourinho, as well as Gareth Bale it might have been a blessing for Spurs to not have so much pressure to succeed. Spurs’ success will be heavily influenced by Harry Kane up front, at least in recent seasons.

If Harry Kane leaves later next season, Son Heung-min may not be able to carry the burden of the front line alone. Harry Kane is also a weakness, as if he is turned off, Spurs are usually stuck, although that could change under Nuno as was seen in pre-season. Besides, if Kane leaves, they probably won’t be able to find a replacement commensurate with the limited transfer window time.

Harry Kane will also be subjected to the torment of their own fans, courtesy of the drama between him, City, and Tottenham. Even though the English captain has stated that he is happy in Tottenham, there are still fresh in Tottenham fans’ minds that their striker is forcing a move.

Besides Kane, and Son, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura also proved to be decisive for the 2021/22 season of Tottenham. Dele Ali, one of the best passers in the EPL, will have to be more disciplined to make his talent be seen by the coach, if he is fit and stable, he is one of the best Attacking midfielders out there.

While Lucas Moura, the Brazilian is a hardworking player, you will see him running anywhere, making himself available, which is food but will prove to be tiring as the season comes to Christmas. Hugo Lloris, as the captain, will take this season as a challenge to keep all of their teammate heads to aim for one thing, winning the Premier League.
