Michael Owen predicts the result of Arsenal vs Tottenham

Speaking to BetVictor (h/t Mirror), Michael Owen took the task of predicting the winner for Tottenham vs Arsenal. The Premier League legend edged the North London Derby in favour of Arsenal by a 2-1 margin based on the form from both sides. Owen also predicted that Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool will win their games.

This week, the Premier League will see a number of interesting games. Chelsea and Manchester City kick off proceedings while the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are also in action. However, we have another high profile game on Sunday with Arsenal taking on Tottenham in the second London derby in as many weeks.

Arsenal started the season with three losses and bounced back with two wins in the last two. Spurs, on the other hand, are exactly in the opposite scenario. Nuno Espirito Santo won his first three games while it was far more disappointing in the last two. On Sunday, these two sides meet and a lot will be at stake.

It’s hard to say what will happen in such derbies but Premier League legend, Michael Owen took a shot and predicted which of Arsenal or Spurs would come out on top.

“Arsenal have won two in a row; Spurs have lost two in a row. For that reason, I’m going to side with the Gunners here and predict a 2-1 home win.”

Quite understandable that Owen has gone on the basis of form. Last season, Spurs won the home game while Arsenal edged out the away game. During these games, it’s hard to say what can happen but one thing is for sure that it always provides excitement.
