Tottenham Hotspur are suffering various problems on and off-the-pitch involving Nuno Espirito Santo
According to The Sun (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in crisis mode as some players in the club are not on the same wavelength as Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Portuguese was hired earlier this summer to steady the ship at the North London club and for a while, it certainly looked like the 47-year-old was going to come through for Daniel Levy. Fabio Paratici managed to bring incredible talent into the squad while they also managed to keep Harry Kane at the club, despite interest from Manchester City.
Nuno also went on to win the first three league games of the season, including a statement victory on the opening day of the season against Manchester City. However, those performances seem many a mile away now as the club are sitting 11th in the Premier League table.
Performances of several players have deteriorated, and it seems as though there are conflicts now. It is understood that the relationship between the former Wolves boss and some of the players has reached ‘rock bottom’.
In fact, it is also said that Nuno had not earned the dressing room’s trust even before the loss against North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
The trio of Dele Alli, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, and Tanguy Ndombele apparently faced the wrath of the Portuguese manager after their poor performance on the weekend.

The 47-year-old was also understood to be ‘cold and unapproachable’ last month despite guiding the club to the top of the table after just three games. Thus, things feel seemingly tense at Spurs, and it remains to be seen how it will be resolved.
The club’s main focus would, however, be against the UEFA Europa Conference League game against NS Mura on Thursday and then against Aston Villa on the weekend.
