Tottenham Hotspur are eager on a deal for AC Milan star Franck Kessie
According to Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are amongst several clubs that are interested in getting a deal over the line for AC Milan ace Franck Kessie.
The 24-year-old has been a revelation for AC Milan since joining them from Atalanta back in 2017. Since making the move to San Siro, Kessie has made 190 appearances for the club and might hit the 200 mark soon.
However, this might be the last season the Ivorian spends in Italy as he is said to be eyeing a move to the Premier League. Kessie is in the final year of his contract and is yet to agree an extension on his deal with the Rossoneri.
Although Milan are trying hard and would continue to convince the 24-year-old to put pen to paper on a new deal, it remains to be seen whether the player is interested in doing so. The midfielder is thought to be keeping England on his ‘agenda’ of the countries he could move to due to his style and abilities in the game.
If an agreement is not reached between the concerned parties by January, the Ivorian is said to be ready to make his decision on his future in the winter transfer window.
This has led to several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, Leicester City, Everton & Arsenal going on alert, while they have also asked the 24-year-old representatives to inform them of any updates.

Tottenham, who already possess the likes of Oliver Skipp, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Dele Alli, could benefit from adding one more midfielder to boost the quality in their ranks.
Fabio Paratici has a great knack for completing deals, and he showed his quality earlier this summer as he negotiated excellent transfers for the North London club. However, with seven other clubs interested in procuring the midfielder’s services, it remains to be seen if the Italian football director can pull off another clever coup.
