Allan Saint-Maximin sends message to Sergio Reguilon after his heroics in Tottenham Hotspur’s victory against Newcastle United
Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin has sent a message via Twitter to Sergio Reguilon congratulating him for his life-saving actions in their loss against Tottenham Hotspur.
If there is anything greater than football it is humanity and Sergio Reguilon aptly displayed that in Tottenham Hotspur’s victory against Newcastle United. The Spanish left-back was quick to grab the attention of the officials to the plight of the Newcastle fan who was in need of serious medical attention.
The match was thus interrupted and the fan is said to be responsive and has regained his consciousness. Several individuals came through and helped him without wasting any precious time. Some things are more important than the beautiful game and Sergio Reguilon’s tweet highlighted this fact.
Yesterday we were opponents but above all we were human beings, thank you for what you did brother 🤝

Despite the rivalry on the field, Saint-Maximin showed his appreciation for what the 24-year-old left-back did when he was on the field. Apart from the heroics in their PL fixture against the Magpies on Sunday, the Spanish professional footballer has become an integral part of the Lilywhites ever since his arrival.
He has already played 46 matches for Spurs across all competition in which he has provided 8 assists for the North London club. The Newcastle United star has also had a pretty good season so far with the Tyneside-based club as he scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 8 Premier League games this season. Even with his goal contributions, the Toons haven’t managed to win a single game in England’s top flight this season.
