English skipper Harry Kane reaches new milestone for Tottenham Hotspur
According to Spurs official site, Harry Kane is only the 7th player to have made 250 Premier League appearances for Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spurs ace has found it difficult to get going this season but has been a dependable asset for the club for the past few years. The 28-year-old has already cemented himself as one of the best strikers ever in the Premier League.
Kane has played a total of 348 matches for the Lilywhites across all competitions since making his first-team debut in 2011. During this period he has scored 228 goals and provided 50 assists for Tottenham Hotspur. He has also notched 3 PL Golden boots during his time with Spurs.
The result against West Ham United may not have been a favourable one but it just goes to show the kind of service that Kane has provided to the club over the years. The 28-year-old striker has also won the PL player of the Month award 6 times throughout his tenure with the North London outfit.
The English captain’s struggles this season is more of an anomaly than anything else. There is little debate that he surely has to be regarded as one of the top players to have served the club for the better part of the decade. Hugo Lloris is the only active member in the current squad who has made more Premier League appearances than the English international.
Kane has been linked with a move away from the club with Manchester City being the most likely destination. The Tottenham faithful would be hoping that Kane can regain his old form and propel his club to new heights. The striker has only scored 1 goal in the PL after 8 matches this season.

That being said the last time he failed to score a goal in the first 6 matches of a Premier League season was in 2015/16. The prolific striker scored 25 goals and provided 1 assist and climbed his way to a PL Golden boot. The supporters and management would be hoping for deja vu of the same kind in this campaign.
