Tottenham Hotspur fans react as an under-fire Manchester United make merry against Nuno and co
Tottenham Hotspur fans had a night to forget as they were convincingly beaten by Manchester United at White Hart Lane. Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford were enough for the Red Devils to cruise to a convincing 3-0 win.
Spurs looked pretty ordinary through out the 90 minutes and were even booed off by their own fans during both the first half interval and after the final whistle. The hosts lacked the attacking intent needed to pierce through a United side that was there for the taking.
There were no positives for Spurs at all as the whole squad looked lethargic and they had no shots on target. The result heaps further pressure on Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
Nuno’s decision to swap swapped the popular Lucas Moura for Steven Bergwijn also saw booes ring out through the stadium. The Portuguese manager will now need to turn around his side’s fortunes and do it fast. The defeat leavesSpurs are down to eighth in the points table after 10 games into the season.
We now take a look at how some Spurs fans reacted to the shocking performance.
Ole “I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing”
Nuno: “Hold my Beer”

The problem with this team is in the dressing room, every player will look around and think it’s everyone else’s fault we are so bad. Not one will look in the mirror and think they are the problem.
