Jamie O’Hara backs Scott Parker as a replacement for Nuno Espirito Santo at Tottenham Hotspur
According to Football.London, Jamie O’Hara has sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy to replace Nuno Espirito Santo with Scott Parker. The Lilywhites is on the back of a heavy defeat at home at the hands of Manchester United in the Premier League.
Nuno is under immense pressure after the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as it is believed that he could be sacked. Levy and his board are claimed to be preparing a shortlist, looking for possible replacements as the next boss.
O’Hara tweeted on his social media handle following the 3-0 loss against Man United. He believes the current AFC Bournemouth manager, who are thriving in the EFL Championship, is what Spurs need and to develop an identity to move forward.
“Give me Scott Parker as gaffa let him build a squad, has an identity a spurs style of play, managed the u23s he knows what the club needs #Spurs#TOTMUN.”
The sentiment around Santo is that he is similar to Jose Mourinho in terms of the style of play. Mourinho was sacked to look for a fresh approach but the current Spurs boss does not fit that requirement.
This is further highlighted when you look back to the circumstances in which the Tottenham boss was appointed. The Portuguese was not the first choice as some of the first choices rejected the possibility of joining the London club.
