Some Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Antonio Conte receives clearance to kickstart his era against Vitesse
As confirmed by the club’s official site, new Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has been cleared to take charge of tonight’s UEFA Europa Conference League group match against Vitesse at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This will come as a welcome boost for a side looking to recover from the loss in the reverse fixture last month. While the Conference League represents a rather underwhelming occasion for the Italian to begin his account, it speaks volumes of the job ahead of him.

Tottenham also confirmed the appointments of Cristian Stellini, Gianluca Conte, Costantino Coratti, Gian Piero Ventrone and Stefano Bruno as part of the Italian’s coaching retinue. Former player and ex-interim-manager Ryan Mason also join the group as a first-team coach.
It will be a highly anticipated moment for Spurs fans as they finally have a world-class manager at the club. The Italian can hopefully sue tonight’s game to get an idea of the tools he has to work with. Better times await Tottenham but for now, the new era looks set to kick off today.
It will be fair to assume that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be buzzing going into the game. It will hopefully mark the beginning of an era where we rightfully take out place at the top of the English footballing pyramid.
