Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Harry Kane breaks audacious England goals record vs Albania

Harry Kane scored a perfect first-half hat-trick against Albania yesterday, and Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted on Twitter to celebrate their protagonist’s achievement.

The England national football team have moved to a touching distance of the 2022 World Cup subsequent to their emphatic 5-0 victory over Albania. The Three Lions are the only unbeaten team in Group I, just one point far from qualifying.

Though Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson’s goals were an essential determinant in the game, Harry Kane’s perfect hat-trick before the halftime mark has been the headliner from yesterday’s clash.

The Spurs forward opened the chart with a header from Henderson’s cross. He added his second with a left-footed shot from a narrow angle before finishing with a right-footed bicycle kick.

The 28-years-old forward has become England’s all-time top scorer in competitive matches (non-friendly matches), with 39 goals overtaking the previous record-holder Wayne Rooney(38).

England manager Southgate praised Kane's all-round performance.

A perfect hat-trick like this came after a long wait by the English people after the last one back in 1993 by David Platt against San Marino.

The England manager Gareth Southgate was undoubtedly thrilled with his forward’s performance as he presented some high praise for the player’s attacking intent and aggressiveness.

“We know he’s going to score goals, but I really liked the way he was aggressive in his hold-up play.”

The 51-years manager was pleased rather with Kane’s ‘all-round performance’ than his current form as he thinks ‘form is always temporary.’

After the match, the Spurs’ captain reflected on his perfect hat-trick by praising the team performance. But he isn’t finished with his scoring as he intends to score ‘a few more’ against San Marino.
