Tottenham Hotspur to battle Manchester City and Arsenal for Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina
According to The Sun (h/t Daily Mail Online), Tottenham Hotspur face competition from Premier League clubs Manchester City and Arsenal for the services of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old has kicked off things from where he left last season and has not slowed down in his displays. With ten goals and an assist to his name, he is one of the most prolific goalscorers this season.
Tottenham are interested in the Serbian forward after Antonio Conte is keen to bring in the stiker who had been labelled as Spurs’ primary transfer target recently. Harry Kane has underperformed this season in the league, and his arrival could help in compensating for the lack of goals.
Levy is looking at the January transfer window to make his move for the striker but will face several obstacles in the way. The first would be from his agent, who is not showing any interest to negotiate currently.
Secondly, the Spurs chairman would have to battle it out with Man City and the Gunners for the Serbian international. The interest from other clubs would further drive up the price, and he would have to be ready to shell out some money to back his new manager.
Having rejected a contract extension with the Seria A club, it is likely that Vlahovic will leave the club in the coming transfer windows. The Italian club is also open to selling the striker who would have his contract come to an end in 2023.

The North London club would need to be wary of their style of involvement in the transfer window if they hope to get their desired target. With other big clubs in the race, we should replicate our desire to sign Vlahovic in any potential offer we put forth in the future.
