Some Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Harry Kane continues scoring spree for England
Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane scored four goals as England sealed their place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar in style.
The Three Lions recorded a 10-0 thumping of San Marino in their latest qualifier which was in essence a cakewalk. With this great result, they ended their qualification campaign in style and can now look forward to next summer’s showpiece event.
Gareth Southgate’s men dominated proceedings from the first minute of the game and the scoreline would be a fair reflection of that. Harry Maguire opened the floodgates with a goal in the 6th minute and there was no looking back after that.
An own goal by Filippo Fabri in the 15th minute doubled the lead for England. After that started the ‘Harry Kane’ show which saw him score four goals in a span of 15 minutes, with his first of the evening coming from a penalty in the 27th minute and his 4th goal in the 42nd minute.
The first half goal glut all but guaranteed the Three Lions all three points. Kane’s performance, albeit against a minnow stood out and Spurs fans will be hopeful he can reproduce the same in the club’s colours.
The Lilywhites fans went crazy and celebrated the 28-year-old striker’s ecstatic performance against San Marino. Kane also broke a 94-year-old record by scoring 16 England goals in a calendar year for the Three Lions after whizzing four past the hapless opposition.
