Tottenham Hotspur receive boost as Burnley miss three key players ahead the weekend’s Premier League clash
According to Burnley Express, Tottenham Hotspur will receive a boost in the form of suspensions and injury for Burnley, who will be missing three key players in the Premier League clash. Spurs will travel to Turf Moor to face Sean Dyche’s side on 28 November.
Sean Dyche’s team are in a relegation battle currently but are in a four-match unbeaten run in the league. Spurs are full of confidence following an impressive second-half performance against Leeds United resulted in a comeback win at the home stadium.
While one cannot take an opponent for granted, the fixture against Lancashire based club would give Antonio Conte a chance to gain ground on top four places. His side will further be boosted by the three key players who will miss the match for the Clarets.
Centre-back James Tarkowski and midfielder Ashley Westwood will be on the sidelines, having picked up their fifth yellow card of the season. That would be a blow as they have been crucial and have played 13 and 12 matches respectively this season.
Ashley Barnes has suffered a thigh injury and is expected to be out for the game. It was considered a minor injury at first, but further diagnoses have revealed that he will be out.
Dale Stephens could make it in time for the PL clash after he suffered an ankle issue that saw him on the stands for an extended period. However, he could still miss the game or not be utilised due to the circumstances.

This would be an advantage for the North London club but, they will have to focus the preparations on themselves rather than the opponents. This should also not be a license to take it easy since it is essential to build on what the Italian manager has implemented in the team.
