Antonio Cassano tips Dusan Vlahovic to choose Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Juventus
According to Bobo TV (h/t Metro), Serie A ace Dusan Vlahovic has been tipped to join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur amid growing interest from many elite teams.
The Fiorentina star has been the talk of the town in the Italian league thanks to his incredible form in front of goal. Vlahovic has registered 15 goals and two assists in 17 games this season is already on course to win the Italian golden shoe.
Despite his brilliant form, La Viola are struggling to make themselves relevant and it could cost them a Champions League place for the following season. A quality youngster like Vlahovic, who is entering his peak years, would always want to play UCL football. However, his current team’s delinquency could push him towards the exit.
Nevertheless, the 21-year-old player would face no difficulty finding his next club. It is believed that along with Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Juventus are all readying their respective plans to land the Serbian star.
However, retired Italian forward Antonio Cassano has advised him to not join the Old Lady amid a situation where Max Allegri is feeling the heat to deliver expected results.
“Don’t go to Juventus.”
The Seria A winning striker also suggested which factors could affect Vlahovic’s growth. In Conte and Tottenham, Vlahovic could find the right manager and the right club with a plan.
‘If, on the other hand, at 20 you find a coach who does not know how to talk and work with you, your growth ends.”
The right move!
Cassano tipped the youngster to join the force of Antonio Conte at Tottenham as the Italian manager exactly knows how to get the best out of a forward.
‘If I were him, I would go abroad. Why not choose Conte and Tottenham? Antonio would make Vlahovic grow, as happened with Lukaku at Inter.”
Tottenham has faced specific issues this season in the attacking department. Key forward Harry Kane hasn’t yet found his form and only netted one goal in 13 appearances in the Premier League.
Young forward Steven Bergwijn has shown some talented output. however, he’d need some more years of grooming to reach the level to dominate goalscoring charts at the English top-flight.
