Tottenham Hotspur set to bid early for AC Milan star Franck Kessie
According to The Express, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make an early bid for the signature of the AC Milan star Franck Kessie. Spurs are leading the race for the midfielder and appear keen to make their advantage count.
Kessie will see his contract with Milan expire at the end of the current season. He has rejected a salary package of £5 million a year and has told the club that he will leave at the end of his deal. However, Antonio Conte is keen to bring him in next month, and a potential transfer could be in the works.
Fellow Premier League sides, Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in landing the 24-year-old, but only Tottenham have contacted his representatives. If a move next month does not come to fruition, he could still reach a pre-contract agreement with Fabio Paratici.

The Italian manager could use a midfield three of Hojbjerg, Skipp and Kessie that can potentially go up against any top side in the Premier League. Skipp has played an advanced role recently, whereas the Dane has done the same for his national team. That leaves the lone pivot role for the Serie A superstar if we end up signing him.
