January Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur told how much Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie will cost from Juventus
According to the Italian publication Calciomercato (h/t ESPN), Tottenham Hotspur have been handed the valuation for securing the services of Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie from Juventus, as the club eyes a double swoop in the January transfer window.
Antonio Conte is a ‘keen’ admirer of the Juve duo and wants them in the Tottenham squad when the transfer window opens next month. The Bianconeri are ready to part ways with their stars and have put a price tag worth €70 million on them.
Kulusevski and McKennie are valued at €35million each, and Spurs would have to spend a considerable sum to get their targets. Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici will need to back their manager if they hope to raise the ambitions and challenge for silverware.
January reinforcements?
The Serie A duo would bring much-needed quality and depth to our squad, which is essential for any team to achieve titles in the long run of a season. Their versatility would be a bonus as it would offer Conte the option to tweak his formations and tactics when needed.
The 23-year-old could play a similar role to what Arturo Vidal did for the Italian manager during their time together in Turin and Inter Milan. His work rate, plus the ability to get involved in attacking areas would certainly be helpful for the Spurs coach.
The 21-year-old Sweden international, however, has failed to take the next step at Allianz Stadium after the early promise he showed at Atalanta and Parma. He is still young, though, and could rekindle his career at Spurs.

At the same time, we would be smart to negotiate a fee that works in our favour with the Italian club, granted we do move for them. They are currently in a financial crisis and require some funds to get them out of their plight.

Paratici previously had affiliations with the Turin based club, and it remains to be seen whether that would help us during negotiations. Then again, we could also just sign one of the two if the combined fee seems steep to our board.
If that ever turns out to be the case, perhaps Kulusevski could be the smarter option to pick given Steven Bergwijn isn’t firing on all cylinders while Son Heung-min has no competition for a spot down the left-hand side. It remains to be seen how this deal goes down and if we dip into Serie A again after securing temporary deals for Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini in the summer.
