Tanguy Ndombele and six others identified by Tottenham Hotspur for sale
Tottenham Hotspur will look to sell Tanguy Ndombele and six other players in the ongoing transfer window, according to The Sun.
The French national was given a fresh start at the North London side by new boss Ange Postecoglou. However, the midfielder’s tardiness and issues with his attitude have not impressed the Australian manager.
As a result, Spurs are looking to part ways with the 26-year-old in case a suitable buyer turns up. But he is not the only player who has been placed on the market by the Lilywhites.
Hugo Lloris looks set to depart Tottenham after over a decade in between our sticks. The French national has been replaced by Guglielmo Vicario as the number one at the North London side.
Djed Spence is also a name that Spurs are open to selling in the coming weeks. Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganaga, Sergio Reguilon and Harvey White also look to be out of Postecoglou’s plans.
Tottenham signed Ndombele in the summer of 2019 from Olympique Lyon. However, the midfielder has mostly enjoyed an underwhelming spell at the North London side.
After failing to cement a place in the Lilywhites’ starting lineup, the French national was loaned a few times. He spent the last season on a temporary move at Napoli and won the Scudetto with the Partenopei.
For now, Postecoglou has the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, Yves Bissouam, Oliver Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr at his disposal in the engine room. Therefore, we have enough depth in the middle of the park at the moment.
