Tottenham target Gleison Bremer is unsure about his future
Speaking to Flow Sport Club via Football Italia (h/t football.london), Tottenham target Gleison Bremer has admitted he’s unsure about his future as the centre-back looks for a move away from Torino this summer.
“I don’t know where I will play, I am talking to my agent and at the moment, there is nothing defined yet.”
The defender doesn’t know whether he will stay in Italy or move abroad. But one thing is certain as the Brazilian looks for a team with Champions League football. The 25-year-old hopes to solidify his plans soon.
“I am unsure whether I’ll remain in Italy or go abroad.
“One fundamental thing is to play the Champions League next season. This is fundamental to continuing my growth.
Tottenham under Conte is an exciting project
While Bremer hasn’t decided on his future yet, Spurs fans might believe their side is one of the favourites as the Brazilian centre-back’s desire for Champions League football can be fulfilled at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the player. Italian giants Inter Milan and German champions Bayern Munich are also in the running for the defender’s signature.
In his time in Italy, the 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in the league. The Brazilian came into his own last season as he helped a side that had been struggling for a couple of years finish 10th in the Serie A.
Bremer has been playing in Italy since 2018. Antonio Conte is a big figure in the country for his success over the years in Serie A. The 52-year-old is an attraction for players.
The Brazilian centre-back’s desire to develop and grow is a big plus point. Tottenham need a defender in the team who can take up a position in Conte’s defence and Bremer is adept as he’s been playing in a back three in Turin.

Fans will pick the Brazilian over Ben Davies for a starting berth if Spurs manage to pull off the signing. But Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez suffered through injuries last season and their absence has required cover.
It remains to be seen what Tottenham decide to do in the race for the centre-back.
