Romaine Mundle in Tottenham Hotspur training ahead of Nottingham Forest clash
Promising Tottenham Hotspur youth talent Romaine Mundle could receive his baptism of fire in the senior squad this weekend against Nottingham Forest.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have gotten off to a very good start. The club has won two games and drawn another as they sit fourth on the table. Spurs travel to face newly promoted side Nottingham Forest this Sunday.
Sportsdias have spotted one talent who was training with the first-team for their next game. Among the regulars, Mundle was spotted in the training photos, posted by Spurs.
The 19-year-old is part of the Tottenham Hotspur Under-21 squad. A academy product, he was promoted to his present side in 2021. Now the forward has been spotted practising with the senior squad.
Mundle has played all the three games this season in the Premier League 2. He is yet to make his senior appearance, but was on the bench of the first-team against Pacos de Ferreira last season.
Capable of playing on either sides of the wings and even as an attacking midfielder, the 19-year-old is one of the best prospects in our academy. He is yet to play for his country on the junior level, but that day won’t be far.
Conte will likely rotate his squad for the game. Richarlison could start, while Clement Lenglet also could make his full debut. Ivan Perisic was impressive last game and will likely start again ahead of Ryan Sessegnon.
It is nice to see Conte call up an academy player to train with the first-team. This will definitely be a major boost for the player. He could possibly make the bench for the game against Forest, should he be able to impress his coach.

Fans will hope that their side can walk away with the three points. But it will be no easy task. Forest are back in the Premier League after 23 years, and they will do everything possible to survive this season. It remains to be seen if Mundle makes the bench this Sunday.
