Sebastian Rode names Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min as tough opponents
Eintracht Frankfurt captain Sebastian Rode has named Harry Kane and Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur who gave his side a tough time last Wednesday.
Spurs hosted the last season’s Europa League winners for their fourth group-stage game and it did not disappoint. The north London club won 3-2 and took all three points.
While speaking to BT Sports as quoted on the UEFA website after the game, the Frankfurt captain gave his say on the two Spurs forwards.
“They have brutal quality, they used every free situation. Kane did well to hold onto the balls and then played in Son who scored. We started well, tried to press high, but they always managed to find Kane with a long ball and then we had problems to defend the pacey Son.”

The visitors took the lead through Daichi Kamada in the 14th minute, but Antonio Conte’s boys responded quickly and brutally.
Son equalised the score after Kane’s through ball found him running openly towards the goal. The England captain then converted the penalty to put his side 2-1 in the 28th minute.
Eight minutes later the Korean international struck Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s cross with a beautiful volley with his left foot to make it 3-1 for the hosts.
Frankfurt found their second in the 87th minute and three minutes later Spurs were awarded their second penalty. To everyone’s surprise, Kane fired it above the bar and the game looked far from over. However, Tottenham remained resilient and walked away with all three points.
