Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski send message to Tottenham Hotspur teammates after Marseille win
Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski were absent from Tottenham Hotspur’s UEFA Champions League clash against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday night (2 November).
The duo, as they have been for quite some time now, were out with injury and could still be sidelined for the Premier League clash against Liverpool this Sunday (6 November).
That didn’t stop them from following the game. Kulusevski posted an Instagram story (as posted below) after the full-time whistle.
Spurs were 2-1 winners on the night after goals from Clement Lenglet and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the second half overturned OM’s lead from the first half. Chancel Mbemba had earlier put Marseille in front with a header in first-half stoppage time.
Richarlison and Kulusevski send Spurs teammates special message
Richarlison signed for us this summer from Everton and has been a crucial part of our attack – that was until his injury against his former club in a 2-0 win for us earlier this campaign.
While that injury thankfully didn’t end his FIFA World Cup dream with Brazil, it has sidelined him from club football for a short while. After the win at the Stade Velodrome, the former Watford posted the tweet as mentioned below:
It is a long shot to say that the duo can be involved in the PL clash against Liverpool on Sunday. They were not even in the matchday squad against OM which makes it unlikely that manager Antonio Conte risks them in such a manner.
