Ben Davies gives his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur win against Leeds United
Tottenham Hotspur star Ben Davies has given his Verdict on Tottenham Hotspur and their hard-fought win over Leeds United at the weekend.
Tottenham and Leeds United played out one of the best games of the season on Saturday (12 November). Spurs won the game 4-3 in North London, after being behind three times.
Crysencio Summerville gave the visitors an early lead. Harry Kane soon equalised, but Leeds striker Rodrigo gave his side the lead again just before half-time.
Ben Davies scored a fantastic goal in the second half to bring his side level again, only for Rodrigo to give his team the lead again. The hero of the night Rodrigo Bentancur would then step up to seal the win for his side.

The Uruguayan midfielder would equalise in the 81st minute. And then after some fantastic footwork by Dejan Kulusevski in the Leeds box, he would square it to Bentancur who would score his second and his side’s fourth of the night.
Antonio Conte’s men had lost their last two games in all competitions and were desperate for a win. After a rollercoaster of 90 minutes, they would achieve that in some style.
Davies, who scored his side’s second goal has now given his verdict on the game. Speaking to SPURSPLAY (h/t Yorkshire Evening Post), the 29-year-old centre-back had his say.
“We were desperate to finish on a high. But, once again, going behind, it’s not easy in games, it’s not really what we want to be doing and it’s not the way we want to be winning games but we showed a lot of character once again. It’s not easy coming from behind and winning games but we’ve done it a lot this year so it does say a lot about this group.”
