Tottenham Hotspur told price tag for Morocco star Sofyan Amrabat
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte remains a fan of Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat, as per Spanish outlet Relevo (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The 26-year-old has been immense at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and put in an immensely strong performance once again as the Atlas Lions beat Portugal in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The defensive midfielder has been a big reason why Morocco have conceded just one goal in the entirety of the tournament in Qatar, despite facing European giants Spain, Portugal, and Belgium.
Fiorentina will apparently demand at least 30million Euros plus around 10million Euros in add-ons and Spurs could face competition from Liverpool among other teams. The price tag seems decent for the Lilywhites.
We can use a strong defensive midfielder who can be a solid presence in our double pivot. Manager Antonio Conte likes to play in a 3-4-2-1.
Amrabat’s defensive strengths can allow the attackers in our to be adventurous and do the damage up front – a role similar to that of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
It’s true that the Denmark international is as irreplaceable in our midfield as Harry Kane is in our frontline. But Amrabat will provide much-needed competition in that area.
